But, I did not bother with soaking. I had to really really keep it for a long time (more than 5 whistles). Some times, I had to open the pressure cooker only to find it still raw...then, do it all over again. I also tried to cook it in microwave (1:2). I am afraid it didn't work out well either. I successfully burnt it. But, I must say, inspite of all the accompanying difficulties, I found it refreshing to eat...it didn't sink me like the white rice after eating.
