After making/frying one paniyaram, you need to check if the paniyaram is too thick/dense in the middle, if yes, you should add milk. Milk is for reducing density.

2. Nothing needs to be done for the paniyaram to flatten. I suppose your batter must be too thick for it to take the shape of a round ball, if the batter is if the correct consistency, it will flatten properly.Add milk to loosen it up a little and try it.Swetha Sreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11355908422299829871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2418451835963673385.post-68473904145503801672012-07-01T11:03:46.916-04:002012-07-01T11:03:46.916-04:00yummy and delicious and tempting paniyarams.yummy and delicious and tempting paniyarams.kitchen queenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16772741234269398222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2418451835963673385.post-59194283384597873052012-07-01T08:54:22.090-04:002012-07-01T08:54:22.090-04:00I suppose you are worried if the consistency of ba...I suppose you are worried if the consistency of batter would become too watery after adding milk , if so add little bit idli batter to make it thick. So when you add milk and idli batter , it will even out and batter wont be runny.Swetha Sreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11355908422299829871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2418451835963673385.post-84638126829791400722012-07-01T08:23:11.873-04:002012-07-01T08:23:11.873-04:00Two questions:

If the batter is in the right consistency at first, then I am not sure when to add the milk.
2. How does the paniyaram flatten up? Usually it comes as round balls (similar to bonda) for me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15164603552974193018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2418451835963673385.post-51296546513705411752012-07-01T07:55:49.430-04:002012-07-01T07:55:49.430-04:00Just mouthwatering...would love to have some...loo...Just mouthwatering...would love to have some...look forward to more posts from you!Kalyanhttp://icetrail.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2418451835963673385.post-70476378746541392622012-07-01T07:53:44.518-04:002012-07-01T07:53:44.518-04:00paniyaram looks very good and yummy..
